CameraWise Film Festival 2026 and launch of FMG Media Lab
To celebrate the blossoming of Visual Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam and the creation of CameraWise – the Amsterdam Hub for Visual Anthropology and the FMG MediaLab, we organised a three-day film festival under the title CameraWise: Transforming Research in and through Film. In three days, we screened no more than 8 films, which enabled us to discuss them in-depth. The films had been selected with current conversations in visual anthropology in mind, allowing for more focused debates. The festival is free of charge and wheelchair accessible. See you again in 2028!
