CameraWise Film Festival and launch FMG Media Lab
To celebrate the blossoming of Visual Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam and the creation of CameraWise – the Amsterdam Centre for Visual Anthropology and the FMG MediaLab, we are organising a three-day film festival under the title CameraWise: Transforming Research in and through Film. In three days, we’ll screen no more than 8 films, which will enable us to discuss them in-depth. The films have been selected with current conversations in visual anthropology in mind, allowing for more focused debates. Attendance is free.
